Capstone
Capstone is an opportunity for you to explore an area of interest or passion while demonstrating the critical skills a high school graduate should possess. You will design, document and present your own personalized project on this Launchpad platform.
Personal Exploration
In this phase you will explore your interests and personal qualities that will be important in the development of your Capstone project! By taking a close look at the things that capture your attention and recognizing your personal strengths, you will think about the type of project that would suit you best.
Project Ideation
Project ideation is a critical phase in the Capstone Project. In this phase you will start by brainstorming ideas for your project. You will have to carefully consider a few projects and consider critical factors in your projects success like budget, time and skills. At the end of the phase you will pick your final project!
Project Development
In this phase you are going to do your project! To start, you need to make a time management plan. This will help keep you on track for the rest of your project. You will gather important resources to help get started. Throughout this phase you will document your progress in your personal blog.
Project Exhibition
In this final phase, it's time for you to share your project with others. First, you will finish building your Launchpad profile by adding your logo, trailer video and any other final documents and images. During this phase you will also present your project to an audience. Finally, you will reflect on all your lessons learned.
